Envisioning the future, where technology will be indistinguishable from life, in his art Peter Hamlin uses visual forms of painting, drawing, printmaking and objects informed by elements of storytelling and myth-making. Compositions blend fantasy and science as the spaces breathe with synthetic awareness in vibrant, synthetic colors, layers, and delineated systems.

Alongside Peter's studio practice, he works as a visual journalist at The Associated Press, contributing to coverage of major global events and Pulitzer Prize–winning reporting. Journalism's public responsibility and evolving visual language deeply inform his art, creating an ongoing dialogue between lived reality, reported facts and imagined futures.

AI's developments and mass adoption are accelerating faster than many experts and frontier labs predicted. Through color, pattern, and storytelling, Peter's art creates spaces for reflecting on adaptation, uncertainty, coexistence, and the human place within increasingly technological worlds.

Peter lives and works in New York City. pjhamlin (at) gmail.com
